Rebranding IUBH → IU
Description
Cross-unit responsibility for the implementation of the rebranding from IUBH to IU on a digital level.
Management and coordination with C-Level, the Brand Unit, Performance Marketing and the various development departments regarding the rebranding and the introduction of a new tech stack.
Tasks
- Ensure consistent branding of all digital touchpoints.
- Coordination with the brand and design managers regarding technical feasibility.
- Dissolving the outdated WordPress monolith and introducing a new tech stack - CMS (Twill), styling (Tailwind CSS), design (Figma), frontend component library (Storybook), PIM (PIMCore), DAM (Cloudinary).
- Complete website redesign.
- Facilitation of the Scrum team of the central IU website.
Role
- Cross-unit project manager of the rebranding.
- Product Owner of a Scrum team consisting of 4 developers, design and content.
Outcome
📈 Target achievement: No slump in leads and applications due to the initial loss of recognition value as a result of the new branding.
🔄 Successful introduction of a new tech stack. Starting with a new CMS, to the integration of a product information management system.
🖼 Consolidated media assets across different product verticals.
Launch of the IU Academy
Description
Development of a platform for the sale of further training for jobseekers, which is supported by the Federal Employment Agency (B2G - Business-to-Government, B2C).
Tasks
- Presentation of new product types (training courses based on study modules) with a time-to-market of one month.
- Intensive cooperation with the specialist department regarding new product categories.
- Introduction of one-week sprints for more flexibility.
- Planning and implementation of the customizable CMS back office.
- Implementation of a keyword-based search.
- Heatmap analyses to improve the user flow.
Role
Product owner of a Scrum team consisting of 2 (later 4) developers, design, content with close links to marketing, sales, DevOps, the specialist departments and the C-level.
Outcome
🚀 Successfully launched and expanded product offerings (> 200 training programs) within the set time-to-market.
💰 Constant increase month on month in sales & leads.
🎯 Improved user flow to inform the target group about state-subsidized continuing education courses.
Description
Creation of a central website to standardize the product range (distance learning, dual studies, campus studies) of IU - International University from the DACH region.
Tasks
- Creation of a central digital access point to the various products of IU - International University.
- Restructuring of the product offering.
- Addressing a wide range of target groups.
- Creation of a searchable, filterable product catalog.
- Development of microservices to simplify the connection of product information.

Product Owner of a Scrum team consisting of 4 developers, design, content with close connection to marketing and C-level management.
Outcome
🔎 Consolidation of the product range in the DACH region of IU - International University by introducing a product catalog with various search functions and filters.

Maintenance and optimization of a MultiSite WordPress CMS for the units Campus, Dual and International Studies (B2B, B2C).
Tasks
- Feature development in cooperation with the specialist departments and based on A/B tests.
- Maintenance of the interface connection to Salesforce.
- Addressing a wide range of target groups.
- Website Migration.
- Unit-related weighting and prioritization of user stories.

Description
Redesign of the power2nature website in the field of renewable energy (photovoltaics) and advice on digital solutions.
Tasks
- Relaunch of the website with a focus on a modern, responsive design including SEO optimization.
- Focus on the target groups: Municipalities, companies, open space owners.
- Attractive design & content for potential new employees and investors.
- Introducing automated processes.

IT Consultant and Web Designer - from consulting, concept and design to implementation and further tool integrations.
